Jean-François Perroy, más conocido como Jef Aérosol, nació en Nantes (Francia) en 1957. Es un artista urbano del stencil que empezó a pintar en las calles a principios de los 80. Pintó su primer stencil en Tours, en el centro de París en 1982. Fue un pionero en el urban art europeo y se ha convertido en una referencia obligada y una influencia para todos aquellos que empiezan en el stencil.

Jean-François Perroy, better known as Jef Aérosol, was born in Nantes (France) on 1957. He's a French urban stencil artist who started working on the streets in the early 80s. He painted his very first stencil in Tours (Central France) in 1982. He was a pioneer on urban art and he remains a reference and an influence among street artists of the younger generations.

Con el tiempo, Jef ha ido dejando sus obras por numerosas ciudades alrededor del mundo, Paris, Nantes, Roma, Nueva York, Chicago... su experiencia y su larga trayectoria dentro del mundo del stencil le han hecho convertirse en todo un mito, aún hoy, se puede ver a Jef Aérosol dejando sus pintadas por las calles o participanto en multitud de exhibiciones de arte urbano junto a los mejores del mundo.

Jef has left his spraypaintings on numerous cities around the world, Paris, Nantes, Rome, New York, Chicago... his experience and his long career in the stencil's world has become an idol, still today, you can see Jef Aérosol painting on the walls around the world, making exhibitions or showing his works in many art books.
