Herakut

Herakut es una simbiosis entre Hera y Akut, dos artistas urbanos alemanes que se conocieron en 2004 en una exhibición de street art en Sevilla (España). Hasta ese momento, habían oído hablar el uno del otro pero no se conocían en persona, de hecho, era impensable que pudieran colaborar juntos puesto que tenían unos estilos muy diferentes.


Herakut is a symbiosis of the tags, Hera and Akut, two urban artists from Germany. They first met was in 2004 in the Urban art Festival of Sevilla (Spain). Before that time had only seen each other's work in graffiti magazines. It was unthinkable that they could work together because their styles had nothing in common.


Akut comenzó a pintar graffiti a los 14 años, su estilo con el spray se distingue por su gran fotorealismo y su influencia en la cultura Hip Hop, en cambio la pintura de Hera, no se ve influenciada, es más libre y tiene tendencia a las grandes dimensiones desde que en 2001 comenzó a pintar en muros.

Akut started doing graffiti at the age of fourteen, his photorealistic paintings were heavily influenced by Hip Hop culture, Hera's paintings allows no space for the influence, just felt the urge to work big-dimensioned when she originally started to paint on walls in 2001.
