Liqen ha estado pintando un nuevo mural en la ciudad de Puebla (México) invitado por el "colectivo tomate" para el proyecto de recuperación del histórico barrio Xanenetla. Con este impresionante mural, (todos sus murales son geniales pero este es de los mejores que le he visto), Liqen ha querido unir el fuerte sentimiento de familia tan arraigado allí con uno de sus alimentos base, la mazorca de maiz, haciendo de cada grano, una persona o animal como unidad de un solo conjunto, esto es lo que hace a este artista tan grande, no solo porque su calidad estética es enorme si no porque cada una de sus piezas está cargada de historia, sentimiento y simbología.

Liqen has been painting a new mural in the city of Puebla (Mexico) invited by the "collective tomate" for the project to restore the historic district Xanenetla. With this impressive mural (his murals are all great but this is the best I've seen), Liqen wants to unite the strong sense of family as rooted there with one of their food base, the the maize cob, making each grain as a person or animal as a single unit together, this is what makes this artist so great, not only because his aesthetic quality is great but because each of its parts is steeped in history, emotion and symbolism.
